The Semi Dry Mini offers rapid and efficient transfer of DNA, RNA, and protein blots in just 15–30 minutes. Designed for versatility, it supports Western, Southern, and Northern blotting with a straightforward buffer setup and compatibility with gel thicknesses from 0.25 mm up to 10 mm.
The unit requires only a minimal buffer volume—just a few milliliters per transfer—making it cost-effective and easy to use. A screw-down lid secures the blot sandwich, providing full control of pressure to ensure uniform and reliable transfer.
Equipped with platinum-coated anodes and stainless steel cathodes, the electrodes deliver long-lasting, corrosion-resistant performance. Uniform heat distribution across the blot sandwich guarantees stable transfer times while preventing heat-induced sample loss or distortion. A transparent design allows clear visibility of the blot sandwich for accurate alignment and monitoring throughout the process.
